Amanda L. Hagen

Hagen devotes her practice to family law in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.  She successfully resolves legal disputes because she listens to her clients and finds practical, cost-effective solutions.  She is knowledgeable in all aspects of family law including divorce, custody, child support, property valuation and division, retirement division and spousal maintenance.  Amanda also represents clients in guardianship and conservatorship cases and has extensive trial experience throughout the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin.

Amanda received her law degree or Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2003 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 2000.  Early in her career, she was mentored by one of the leading divorce attorneys in Minnesota and served as a Staff Attorney for the Hennepin County Family Court.  She continued to build her Minnesota and Wisconsin family law practice at the law firm of Hansen, Dordell, Bradt, Odlaug and Bradt, PLLC, in St. Paul and Menomonie, Wisconsin.  She expanded her practice by establishing Hagen Family Law, PLLC in 2012.

As a volunteer attorney in the community, Amanda provides services for The Children’s Law Center, Family Court Self Help Centers, Project Homeless Connect and Volunteer Lawyers Network.  Amanda is a member of the Ramsey County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the St. Croix Valley Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Amanda is recognized as a Top Woman Attorney and a Super Lawyers: Rising Star.  Only 2.5% of the state’s lawyers are selected for these honors, which emphasizes the strength of her legal talent.
